Q:1. Using your water log (and average water use from the days you logged), calculate what your average water use per year might be.
Q:2. What is your estimated water footprint as found using the water calculator on www.waterfootprint.org? (Express in both cubic meters per year and liters per year) Does this surprise you in any way? Why?
Q:3. Think about your average per year from #1 and your estimated water footprint from #2. Which one is greater? Why? How big an impact does “hidden” water use seem to have on your overall water use?
Ans:3. My estimated water footprint from number 2 is greater than my average per year from number 1. I think that the estimated water foot print is greater than my avreage per year because the estimated water footprint has more detail and has a lot more catagories than my avreage per year does. "Hidden" water use seems to have a big impact on my overall water use because water is in almost all the foods that we consume so if u were to not count the food that we eat then our ater footprint would be lower and incorrect.
Q:4. How does your water footprint compare with the average footprint of the
Q:5.How does the average
Q:6. How does your water footprint - and that of every human on earth - play a role in the water cycle? What positive or negative Biosphere <-> Hydrosphere connections might be created by our individual water footprints?
Ans:6. The water footprint of every human on earth play a role in the water cycle because we all use alot of water and we will always have the same amount of water that we have and will ever have. Something negative realted to the biospehere and hydrosphere is that since we are wanting/needing more water we are making it harder for animals to get water, and some countries have more acess to water than others. All linving things need water to survive so we need to find a way to make sure everyone has an equal amount of water.
