Sewage and the City

1.  Describe the evolution of NYC's sewage system.  What were some of the challenges that the city faced in its development of a waste removal system?  What are some challenges that still remain? Some of the challenges that the city faced in its developement of a waste removal system was that they didn't know how they can all remove the waste from this system when it was ready to be removed. FOR EXAMPLE: IN BLACK ROCK FOREST THEY HAVE A DECOMPOSING TOILET THAT WHEN WASTE GOES DOWN THERE, IT STAYS THERE AND THEY HAVEN'T REMOVED IT SINCE NINE YEARS THAT THEY HAVE OPENED. These people wanted to know where they would put all of the waste and that is still happening now (Black Rock Forest)!
2.  What positive impacts does the NYC sanitation system have on the bodies of water surrounding the city?  What threats does the sanitation system pose to the surrounding waters? The positive impacts in NYC's sanitation system that  have on the bodies of water surrounding the City are that when the water travels along it, it gets filtered and is passed on to other people so then the water becomes all clean and purified!
3.  In clear steps with many details, describe the life of your poop after you flush. Well, after you use the bathroom for your business and you flush the toilet, your poop goes down the toilet and then travels all along the pipe underground leading to a sewage treatment plant nearby or far away (doesn't matter) and then the filter there cleans the water that had been used for your poop and then they send it back to another pipe or the same one so other people could use it, but there can be a possibility that you use it one day again too.
