In what ways did New York City's location (surrounded by water!) allow it to become a major urban center of the world? Include in your response the different roles that water played in New York's development throughout history.
Answer:One way NYC's location allowed it to become a major urban center of the world is because NYC is one of those citys that got clean drinking water first. So then people started moving there using tranportation by water because NYC was surrounded by two rivers they were able to use tranportation by water. They might also have goods that other countries would need that they dont have and the people from those countries might want to come to NYC.
