Answer: An aqueduct is a pipe that travels to different places and gives people water to drink.The water should be clean and refreshing so that people would not get sick everytime that theydrink from it.The Corton Aqueduct is an aqueduct because it is a pipe that carries water to near by places and far away places.For example the Corton Aqueduct carries water from Corton New York, to New York City.
2. Why was the Croton Aqueduct built? What need was it constructed to fulfill?
Answer:The Corton Aqueduct waz built because most of the water in New York City was very dirty and contaminated with filth.Most people would refuse to drink the water and it left NYC smelling horrible, so they then decided to built the Corton Aqueduct.By this being built NYC has clean and fresh water to drink.Also NYC does not stink as much as it did before.

Answer:The starting point of the Corton Aqueduct is the Corton Resovior and it ends/use to end in the Central Park Resovior. The relationship of both points to the purpose of the Aqueduct is that they are no longer in use and they both at a time helped NYC get fresh and clean water.
4.What stage of development-undeveloped, developing, and developed- does the Croton Aqueduct belong in? Explain why it is part that stage.
Answer:I would say that it is in the developed stage because it was once used and it really brought NYC to a different stage and turned it around a lot.Also it saved a lot of peoples lives because it brought fresh water to there homes and it's not like it did not work it did a very good job.
5.Identify some of the features of the Croton Aqueduct. How do they help the aqueduct transport water from start to end points?
Answer:I would say that the Corton Aqueduct is slightly tilted downwards so that the water will slide down very easily.Also there are a lot of ventilations that let air go in so that the water will kind of geat a push or it would move down more easily.
