1. An aqueduct is a large complexed water distribution system. What make the croton aqueduct an aqueduct is that it was a water system the distributed clean fresh water for the people of New York City. So that they could have water to drink and would not have to drink the dirty nastey water like they hade before.
2. The croton aqueduct was made to distribute fresh and clean water to the people of New York City. It was constructed to fufill to bring water to New York City.
3. It starts in weschester ny and end in harlem and i am not spacificy positive where it is located. the purpose or the aqueduct on both ends is in harlem so that it would be in the middle so everyone can go there and not have trouble. Where it is now is how they get the waterand so it travles easily.
4. I think that this aqueduct is developed because there is a big aqueduct that at one point worked and was used in many ways to help people also even thought are bridges to fix that is because of some un-kind people that didnt know what they were doing. Also i think this because you can still use it but the the water is not healthy and sanitary for people.
5. some features i know about it is that before it you caould smell NYC from a mile away. I know that 44 miles to get to manhatten. other ones are it costs 13 million dollars and the people that made it were irish and italian people that were brought in.( i do not get the second part of the question: how do they help transport it from start to end)
