 1. Water Dance

Here we had to hold our arms out at about 105 degrees to mode water molecules.  Then we had to connect to different people at this angle.  Directed by Professor Hill and Professor Stillman.

Cohesion and Adhesion

Cohesion:  When something sticks together.

Adhesion:When something sticks to something else.

How can we observe cohesion and adhesion of water?

If you want to observe cohesion in water you might want to put water on wax paper and move the paper around.  Then you can see how the water is cohesive.  If you do the first part you can do this one.  When water is on a person it moves slowly.  When the water moves slowly it is showing adhesion.

In class, how did we model water molecules?
