1. Using your water log (and average water use from the days you logged), calculate what your average water use per year might be.

1. What is an aqueduct? What makes the Croton Aqueduct an aqueduct?
An aqueduct is a man made passage for water that allows water to flow from one place to another in this occasion it's from croton river to New York City. The Croton Aqueduct allows us to have drinkable water instead of dirty water. Stated in class, southern manhattan didn't have clean water but they needed water for many things like drinking and for traveling probably. It's an aqueduct because it's a man made passage for water to travel from place to place.

Water Cycle:
1. Why is the water cycle an important factor in one of the earth's process?
If their was no factor in the water cycle, the water wouldn't be clean for us to drink.
since the water cycle makes evaporation. Without evaporation their would be no rain and if their is no rain the water won't be able to go undergroung through all the process of it becoming fresh. If that doesn't happen their would be no water for New York to drink. The water is millions of years old so if their was no rain the water wouldn't get cleaned.
How can we observe the cohesion and adhesion of water?
cohesion is when water is able to stick or come together with another force. Like if I dip a spoon in a cup of water, the water will still be in the spoon eventhough I take the spoon out. In adhesion the water is able to stick to itself. If I throw some water in the table and move it around with your hands the water will spread instead of going in the table.
In class, how did we model water molecules?
